Born in Perryville, Arkansas to Cecil and Beulah Black. Mr. Black retired from the US Postal Service working at the Marietta and Sandy Plains offices most of his career. He had also worked at North Metro Technical College in Security. He was a deacon at TEB Entire Bible Church in Acworth. Mr. Black was a long time Guitar Player, his CB handle was Guitar Player KAVY2680. His friends would often say he was a father to a few, paw paw to some and a friend to many. A very particular grass cutter, he had his way the grass should be cut. He was a veteran of the Army. Proceeded in death by his wife of fifty years Barbara Sue and grandson little Terry

Terry and Darlene Black of Douglasville, GA
4 grandchildren – John, Marie, Sara, and Lanna
8 great grandchildren – Jackson, Aiden, Kinsey, Gavan, Camden, Devon, Madison, Zylon, and Baby Brookshire on the way.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, January 17, 2016 at The Entire Bible Baptist Church in Acworth. Family will receive friends from 1 till 2 pm Sunday at the church. Visitation will be held 6 till 8 pm Saturday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
