Born in Acworth, Georgia. Mr. Gravitt had retired from Atlantic Steel in Cartersville. He has also worked at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems, McArthur Concrete and Cobb County Water Authority. He enjoyed Golfing at Pinetree County Club and Royal Oaks. His other hobby was playing billiards. He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Rose Lee Gravitt; his daughter Sherrie Cannon Gravitt.
