John spent his working career in the Construction Industry and truly was a working man. He would be the guy you called if you needed help and would do what he could for anyone. He had a heart of gold and made sure to instill in his children the value of hard work, helping others, and the Love of God. John enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer, such as, fishing, hunting, making music, and spending time on the front porch of their cabin in the mountains. The two things he cherished most of all were being a father and grandfather. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.
John is survived by his wife, Tammy Taylor; his son Caleb Taylor; his son Joshua Taylor and wife Lauren; his son Matthew Taylor; and his daughter Amber Taylor; his brother Harvey Taylor, his brother Michael Taylor, his sister Sadie Sullens, his sister Margaret Ledford, his sister Cathy Oakley and his sister Violet Brown; his grandchildren Miles, Abigail, Alora, Emily, Madalynn, and Hunter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for John will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152, followed by a celebration of life and memorial service.
