Josh attended Jones County High School where was involved with the school band as a drummer. His working career was spent as a Fork Lift Driver for XPO Logistics, and he thoroughly enjoyed his job. In his spare time he enjoyed playing any kind of musical instrument, especially the drums. Josh was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, and friend; he will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Josh is preceded in death by his loving mother, Teresa Carter Russell; paternal grandfather, Richard Russell; and maternal grandparents, Myrtle and Bill Carter.
He is survived by his father, Michael A. Russell; brothers, Michael Russell and Alex Russell; paternal grandmother, Emily Russell; special aunt, Barbara ‘Punkin’ Chamberlain; and several extended family members and friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will take place from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until the time of service on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the funeral home.
