Joyce Hedrick

Avery "Joyce" Hedrick, age 71, passed away on March 3, 2020 in Dallas, Georgia. Joyce was born on January 1, 1949 to the late Edgar and Vida Starnes in Acworth, Georgia. Along with her parents, Joyce is precededin death by her brother, Reynold and W.L. and sister, Jeanette Earwood.

On April 11, 1982 Joyce married the love of her life, Ron Hedrick and spent the next thirty-nine years together before her passing. Joyce had a heart full of love and was always very giving. If anyone was inneed she was always the first one to help. Joyce was a very kind and sweet lady who will be missed by all who knew her.

Joyce Hedrick is survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Bryan (Pam) Mcgarity, Darin Mcgarity, Thad Hedrick, and Sandy Hedrick; sisters, Barbara Coffey, Margaret Holland, and​ Teresa McElroy; grandchildren, Brittany, Madison, Alyssa, Macie, and Blake, and loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor Avery Joyce Hedrick will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3:00pm. The family will receive friends for visitation three hours prior to the service.
