Katie Michelle Jenkins

Katie was a Kennesaw State University Graduate earning dual degrees in Chemistry and Biology. She was also employed with Kennesaw State as a Lab Coordinator for the Science and Math Departments. In her spare time Katie enjoyed bowling, reading, and traveling, but her most enjoyable past time was spending time with family. Katie attended Faith Christian Fellowship Church and was a shining light to those who knew her.

Katie is survived by her mother Connie Stone; stepfather Michael Stone; father Charles Chuck Jenkins (Linda); brother Cameron Stone; sister Maisie Stone; grandmother Joan Garrett; grandmother Joyce Smith; aunt Lisa Hester (Donnie). There are also other family members that survive.

A visitation for Katie will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:40 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth, GA with Pastor Tommy Watts officiating.
