Following his graduation from Woodstock High School, Korey became a very active professional player and trader of the card games Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh, which he had played since his early teens. He worked for gaming stores as a card buyer and data entry, the latest one being Dabbers. Korey was extremely well known and he obtained a brilliance all his own, blindsiding his baffled opponents. Korey was also a master of the game, Yu-Gi-Oh, becoming the 2014 North American National Champion. He also mentored several young gamers, played in Pro Tour tournaments, and traveled all over the U.S. and world-wide for gaming to countries such as Spain, Japan, Italy, France and Germany. Korey was not only an extremely talented gamer, he was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend; he will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Along with his parents, Korey is survived by his two brothers, Ryan McDuffie and Chris McDuffie and several aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends also survive.
