Len Edward Black

March 22, 1963 – September 21, 2024

Please keep the family and friends of Len Edward Black in your thoughts and prayers as they come to terms with this heavy loss. After a long and brave battle with cancer, Len has found peace and is no longer in pain.

Born on March 22, 1963, Len lived a full and vibrant 61 years, passing away on September 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jerry and Sue, his grandparents, his uncle Danny, and his nephew Terry Lee Jr.

Len leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer, and his three cherished children: John (Victoria), Marie (Ty), and Sara (Justin). His greatest joy came from his eight “angelic” grandchildren, who filled his life with love and laughter. He is also survived by his devoted younger brother, Terry, his niece, three great-nephews, his great-aunt Joyce, many cousins, and a close-knit circle of dear friends.

To know Len was to know laughter, love, and adventure. He embraced life with a playful spirit, whether it was playing paintball or gaming, like in his younger days, riding mountain bikes and motorcycles, or turning wrenches on one of his many project vehicles. His adventurous heart led him to explore the outdoors, whether boating, kayaking, or scaling mountains by hiking or jeeping with his wife, family, and friends.

Len’s sparkle for life and kindness could be seen in his beautiful blue eyes, and his boisterous, soulful laugh was unforgettable. His zest for life and his love for those around him will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 28, at T.E.B. Baptist Church, located at 4980 Cobb Pkwy N., Acworth, GA 30101.
