Lillian Crawford Cottrell, age 86, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She was born on April 13, 1934 in Kennesaw, GA, to her late parents; George Olin and Olie Collie Crawford. Mrs. Cottrell worked for the Cobb County Board of Education as a bus driver for many years. Lillian was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Bonnie Anderson. Mrs. Cottrell is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold Cottrell of Acworth, GA; daughter, Sherry and her husband, Larry Folsom of Cartersville, GA; sons, Richard and his wife Yvonne Cottrell of Ball Ground, GA, Lanny Cottrell of Acworth, GA; sisters, Estell and her husband Dewey Tapp of Acworth, GA, Marilyn and her husband Frank Pham of Locust Grove, GA; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private burial for Mrs. Contrell on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Interment will take place at Rolling Hills Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in loving memory of Mrs. Contrell.
