Lynda Smith Searcy

Lynda is survived by her daughters Jennifer Metcalf (Kevin) and Elizabeth Grizzle (Timothy); her sisters P. Karen Smith and Judy Drupiewski; her grandchildren Abby, Alex, Savannah, Luke, Layla, Natalie, Chase, and Max, her great grandchildren Jackson, Delaney, Presley, Derick, Waylon and Stella and her nephew David Smith, who she loved like a son. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Walter & Phyllis Smith; her brother Bruce Smith.

Lynda had retired as a Government Contracting Officer with the Federal Government after 27 years. She loved traveling, dancing, music, gardening, crime dramas, especially Perry Mason, family gatherings, the holidays and spending time with her grandchildren. Lynda loved flowers and had the opportunity to help create a Rose Bowl Parade Float, which was a great honor for her. She will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

A visitation for Lynda will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 3:00 pm with Pastor Don Rackley officiating and the Chapel service will be live streamed on the funeral home's facebook page. Lynda will be laid to rest in Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236 on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 11am.
