Marie Rosaire Syme

Mrs. Marie Rosaire Syme was truly blessed. At the age 90 she passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2016 with her family by her side. Rosaire was born on October 4th, 1925 to Suuver Syme and Velina Osias Syme in Croix Des Bouquets Haiti. She was the first born of six siblings.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, dancing, singing, going to church as well as spending time with her grandkids. She devoted most of her time and energy to family members.

She is survived by her husband, Georges Simon; sisters, Bazila Sime, and Amicie Cantave (Mark); sister in law, Simone Sime; daughters, Colette Simon and Carline Cantave (Yves); grandchildren, Yves Emanuel Apollon (Stephanie), Sheaffa Geneus (Eddy), Georgy Apollon; Carl Yves Cantave, Katiana Cantave, and Cassandra Cantave; great-grandchildren, Alanie and Eilana Apollon; nieces, Suzette (Yves), Kettly, Sandra, Sheila, Nadia (Jean-Robert), Marielle (Michel), Lina (Eric), Marise (Yvens), Rejeane (Jean-Rene), Sinette (Louiner), Marloune (Rony), Marie-Michelle (Eden), Florence, and Fabiola; nephews, Innocent, Peter (Dijiny), Roodler (Nadege), Ricardo (Gedna), Patrick L., and Ti-Andre; and a host of cousins and extended family members.

Rosaire's gorgeous smile, quick wit, sense of humor, feisty yet friendly demeanor and willingness to give all she had will always be remembered by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 am in the funeral home's chapel with Father Guyma Noel officiating. Entombment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
