Granny was a very loving individual. She considered practically everyone she met to be her kid and so many of them saw her as their Mama also. Granny had a deep rooted love for children and after enjoying raising her own, she also worked at the bookstore and cafeteria at Southern Tech.
She was a straight shooter - one who really spoke her mind, even if it led to the embarrassment of her family. Granny was quite the spunky one and she will be remembered as a tough, little lady.
She was an amazing cook, an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening and Facebook. She loved her two dogs, Jasper and Willie. Granny enjoyed Christmas more than any other time of year and loved the song, "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
Granny had been a member of Christ Freedom in Hiram.
