Mark managed several auto repair shops. Early on he was selected by a company to go to Chicago for advanced training.
He ran his own construction company Kilpatrick Contracting, for several years doing general construction. He had several employees and partnered with another contractor to rehab apartment complexes.
Later Mark became an over-the-road truck driver traveling to 40 states and logging over a million miles with no accidents. This feat earned him awards and a bonus from several companies.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother JoAnne Kilpatrick. He is survived by his father Sterling Kilpatrick, brother Wayne Kilpatrick, daughters Alexis Richards and Savannah Kilpatrick and granddaughter Wynn Richards.
