

Faye moved to Kennesaw in 1955 and started attending church at Shiloh Methodist in 1958. She dedicated her life to God. Faye raised her five sons to believe in God, and she believed that they were all wonderful men. She thanked God every day for her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Having five sons that were all active in numerous sports growing up, she was always their most dedicated fan, cheering them on in the bleachers, whether it was football, basketball, baseball or track. She was the secretary of her Sunday school as well as the treasurer of her church. Faye started attending West Ridge Church in 1998 with her son Stanley and his family. She was baptized at Acworth Beach by Pastor Brian and lived a Christian life until her passing.
Faye was a member of the Eastern Star for 70 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, working outside with flowers, and cooking for her family. Faye loved her family dearly and was an adoring grandmother and great grandmother. Faye was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed and remembered by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Faye is survived by her sons; Stanley Halbrooks (Gale), Billy Halbrooks (Leigh), James Halbrooks (Theresa), Remer Halbrooks (Velena), Guy Halbrooks (Alma) and), sister; Brenda Clark, brother-in-law; Bobby Ray Halbrooks, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren with two on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation for Faye will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. A service will follow the visitation. Her burial service will occur Friday, January 17, 2025, at Shiloh Community Church Cemetery, Kennesaw, GA.
