Nancy Anita Dale, age 67, of Marietta, Georgia passed on to her residence in heaven on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Nancy was born on November 7, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Robert Quinn and Anita Quinn.
Nancy moved to Marietta as a teenager, where she met and married her first love, the late Stanley Dale. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Justin and Christina.
An avid oldies music lover and beach enthusiast, Nancy enjoyed many hobbies and interests including: plants and gardening, reading, cooking, art, painting, animals, being out in nature, cheering for the Braves, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her two loving children, whom she said were her greatest accomplishments.
A self-taught graphic designer, Nancy established herself in the world wide web universe and was a webmaster for various different websites throughout the years. She loved and deeply enjoyed making online graphics, collages, and uploading her own photography and making it into stunning works of art. Early in her life, Nancy also worked at Georgia Marble Company in their front office, a lunch room monitor at Powers Ferry and Addison Elementary schools in Cobb County, and other various side jobs over the years.
Nancy adored meeting new people and animals and they adored meeting her. Her compassionate, caring, and giving nature attracted all those whose lives she touched. She had a magnificent and hilarious sense of humor that kept all those she was around in stitches. She was also a very loyal woman. She always said, “Once you have a friend in me, you have one for life”. Her presence and influence will forever live on in the hearts and souls of all she touched.
Along with her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Dale. She is survived by her brother, David Quinn (Martha Quinn), of Acworth, Georgia and her two children: son, Justin Dale (Kelly) of Woodstock, Georgia; and daughter, Christina Dale, of Marietta, Georgia, along with many close family friends.
Nancy was the embodiment of an angel on earth. She was a selfless woman who always believed family came first. Like the art she loved to create, her soul is a masterpiece that will always be loved, cherished, and remembered. Just as the angels she loved collecting, she has now earned her own special set of wings that are always ready to fly to those who need her and comfort the weary in heart.
