November 5, 1938 – April 12, 2026
Patricia “Pat” Shea St. Angelo, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 5, 1938, in New York City to Thomas and Marjorie Shea, Pat lived a life defined by love, kindness, and devotion to those closest to her.
Pat and Nick St. Angelo were married for 67 years, their story beginning with a date encouraged by Nick’s older sister, Rosalie Brazee. What began as an evening of dinner, a movie, and dancing grew into a lifelong, loving partnership. Together, they built a life centered on family and shared purpose, even working side by side at their Carvel Ice Cream store in Cocoa Beach as they started a new chapter in Florida.
Pat found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments. An avid lover of the outdoors, she was an active member of her local hiking club. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, reading, and photography, but most of all treasured traveling with Nick, family, and friends. According to Pat, traveling to Scotland (at age 84) was a favorite of her many trips. Time spent together—whether during holidays, celebrations, or picnics at Red Top Mountain—became some of her most cherished memories.
Pat will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, warm and cheerful nature, and quiet, steady strength. She was an easygoing, kind, and intelligent woman, consistently meeting life with resilience, grace, and a positive outlook.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Nick St. Angelo; her son, Steve St. Angelo (E); her daughter, Denise Crider (Cliff); her sister, Ginny Thompson (Jay); her grandchildren, Ryan Benevedes (Deanna), Blane Benevedes (Malia), Shea Brown (Elijah), and Matthew Crider; and her great-grandchildren, Noah, Micah and Halana Benevedes. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Julie Bolton. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Pat’s legacy of love, strength, and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
