Pauline Dora Craig

A native of Morganton, Ga., Mrs. Craig was born on September 17, 1939 the daughter of the late Loyd & Ella Robinson Hunter. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Craig was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John A. Craig in 1999 and by a son, James Mitchell Craig in 1961. She captured the hearts of many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Robert (Melinda) Craig, Richard (Audrey) Craig, and Linda (Ronnie) Young. One brother, Randall Hunter. Seven grandchildren, Melissa Parks, Jennifer Call, Kristen Chastain, Kimberly Craig, Jason Craig, Keri Craig, and Jordan Young. Five great-grandchildren, Maddie Parks, Conner Howard, Kaleigh Howard, Anzleigh Call and Brantley Burns also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Craig will be conducted on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Stacy Nickolson officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of New Hope Cemetery in Morganton, GA. at 2:30 p.m.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Michael Parks, Chris Call, Brandon Burns, and Wil Chastain. Honorary pallbearers will include Jason Craig and Jordan Young.
