Renate Annemarie Brown, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Renate was born in Homburg/Saar, Germany. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billie J Brown. Renate is survived by her son, Michael Brown; her daughter, Christina Brown-Asakawa (Hirohiko); her brother, Winfried Dejon, her brother, Klaus Dejon, and her sister, Rosemarie Phillips.
Renate was a true mother who made sure her family was well taken care of. Her working career was spent doing factory work at Bosch in Germany, Barco of Georgia in Marietta, and as a childcare provider. In her spare time, Renate was an avid gardener and was especially proud of her tomatoes. Her lawn was adorned with knockout roses, azaleas, day lilies, and many more varieties. Renate also enjoyed touring the US and Europe.
A graveside service for Renate will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, 11:00 am at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 31052.
