

Richard Biasetti, 81, passed away in Cedar Hill, Texas on August 6, 2025. He was a long-time resident of Houston, TX. He was born on October 19, 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia, to loving parents who instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion that guided his life.
Richard, from a young age, had many international adventures. He went to high school at an Airforce base in Ankara, Turkey. From there he joined the Marine Corp, which would shape his life. In 1967 he went to Saudi Arabia to help build up the country. Upon returning to the US, he joined Bechtel Corp. and worked on projects around the world. He was even held captive as a civilian under Sadam Hussain during the Gulf War. Richard finished his career traveling around the world working on projects for Chevron.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse Biasetti and Constance Matheson Biasetti.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Hanna Papouschek Biasetti; daughters, Alyssa Biasetti, Bianca Biasetti, and Anneliese Byrd and her husband Aaron Byrd and children, Michael and Derrick; as well as his brothers, Bruce Biasetti, Greg Biasetti, and Wayne Biasetti and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Richard will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother whose kindness touched everyone who knew him.
Richard’s legacy will live on in the countless memories shared by his family and friends, and in the values he passed down to future generations.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 N. Cobb Pkwy., Kennesaw, GA, 30152 on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 22nd, 2025 and will continue until 7:00 PM.
Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 N. Cobb Pkwy., Kennesaw, GA 30152.
