

Mr. Charles Rollie Bevers, 82, of Cumming, Georgia lost his battle with ALS on Monday, March 28th, 2022. On September 2, 1939. Rollie was born in Athens, Georgia to the late Virginia McIntyre and the late Henry Bevers.
Rollie graduated from Chamblee High School in 1957. He also attended Southern Technical Institute. He was a very successful entrepreneur in the manufacturing industry. In his manufacturer's representative business, he was able to work closely with many of his children.
Rollie was a Godly man who gave back to his community and was very involved with North Georgia Tres Dias and Georgia Mountain Tres Dias. He was a member of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia.
Rollie was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Henry, and his brother, Terry Bevers. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Merlyn Bevers; children, Tim (Tanya) Smith, Angela (Joe) Cochran, Tria (Steve) Simmons, Kristen (Udel) Richardson, and Richard (Charlotte) Bevers; Grandchildren, TJ (Elaina) Smith, Ashley (Paul) Jankowski, Meghan (Matt) Sewell, Frank & Walter Cochran, Andrew (AnnaKatherine) Simmons, AnneMarie (Daniel) Ellis, Gabe Bevers, Ally (Samuel) Thompson, Presley & Tripp Richardson; and eight great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Rollie will be held Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at 1 pm at Freedom Tabernacle Church located at 2160 Freedom Parkway Cumming, Georgia 30041 – the funeral will follow immediately after at 3 pm.
