Here is a picture of my Cousin Sarah, she is the little blonde on the left.  This was taken back in the 1950s, in front of our house on Alexander Circle in Marietta.

My Mother, Ruth is the lady on the left back, my Aunt Aileen is next to her (she is Sarah's mother).  In front next to Sarah is my Sister Beth and me, Jimmy.

I have thought of Sarah so much in the past few days.  I miss her and would love to hear her wise advice one more time.  Sarah, you were so loved and I miss you.  I had lunch with Marie today and you would have had fun with our friends! Many memories of all our antics at KJC, Jim the joke teller, tennis, softball games, and oh the music we loved! I can hear it now!

I think of Sarah often with fondness.  She was a good friend for many years and even when we were not in touch for long periods of time the next conversation we had was like we'd seen each other yesterday.  She was a wonderful person and even though she was younger than I, she had years of experience in our chosen field before I started.  She taught me so much that served me well in following years.  RIP Dear Friend - and I pray God's comfort on your family and loved ones.  

Earlier this week, I knew this day was on the horizon.  It is hard to believe it has been a year since Sarah's journey to heaven.  I loved her and miss her so much. I will never forget all our adventures from Emory at Oxford to what is now Kennesaw State University.  When we heard Three Dog Night songs on the radio we would call each other to laugh and enjoy the music.  I pray she is listening to great music, riding every horse, playing every tennis match, reading every book and laughing along the way with the beloved family and friends she joined on that day a year ago.  Forever in my heart dear friend!

I miss my Cousin Sarah.  We were close growing up and shared so many memories.  I Pray that she is laughing and riding every horse there is in Heaven!

To Sarah's Family.  I never personally met Sarah but we were great friends. I worked with Irish Moving & Storage in East Dublin Ga for many years and our insurance was with Quarles Agency. She & I had talked business but had many more friendly conversations. We both loved horses & talked about them a lot. Being FB friends we continued our friendship. She recently answered some questions I had on insurance. I will miss her & will remember you all in my prayers.

First I must say to Jerry, Janie and Joshua how sorry I was to see the notice of Sarah's passing.  I was fortunate to meet her when we both went to work at American Excel Insurance  more than 35 years ago and a few years later at Quarles Agency.  She was one of the smartest people I have ever known and she took me under her wing and taught me the ropes and was instrumental in my career as an insurance adjuster.  On top of that, we became  good friends.  As described, she was funny and spunky and just incredibly easy to like.   Time took us in separate ways but we spoke on the phone on occasion and I am so happy that I got to spend some time with her a couple of months ago.  Fly high dear friend!  Love Ya!  Kathi Barry

I met Sarah when she was in high school.    I liked her immediately and she referred to me as the "Little 'Un".  I didn't mind....she was only four years older than me.    We had reconnected in the past few years and enjoyed spirited chats via private messages online.  We even had the opportunity to catch up on the phone just before she retired.  I will always fondly remember her and her smile and spunky personality.   I will  miss her.   I pray peace and comfort for her family.    Love you, Sarah.

Sarah has been my steadfast friend, but more like a sister, for 50 years.  No matter what, I could always count on Sarah to listen without judgement.  She offered great advice and her quick wit is unmatched.  Her family was the most important part of her life and she loved them fiercely! We spent many hours riding horses and attending horse events over the years.   We actually owned a horse together one time.  She got to witness my first attempt at barrel racing and could not stop laughing when the horse went one way and I went another.  In the hospital last week, I told her stories about the fun we had, the practical jokes her Dad played on me almost every time I was in their home, and how we discovered that anything is possible after I drove her VW with her Dad's Pontiac key.   I miss you Sarah and you will forever be in my heart dear friend. 

Sarah is my cousin.  She was like a sister to me when we were growing up.  We played together and shared adventures together on our grandparents farm.  She loved horses.  She was always there when I needed her to talk too.  I will miss her dearly.  I can see her now in Heaven, chasing Fireflies and playing Hide and Go Seek.
