Serge Marie Joseph Damas

Serge Marie Joseph Damas, age 81, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020. He was born on September 9, 1938 in Cayes, Haiti, to his late parents; Helion Damas and Yvonne Marsan. Serge was retired, he had worked in the Haitian Government for many years. Mr. Damas attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Damas was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by many.

Mr. Damas is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marie Edith Damas; son, Serge Jr. and his wife, Rachel Damas; daughter, Joelle Damas; brother, Jean Damas; sisters, Evelyne Raphael, Rose Therese Cantave; brothers and sisters in law; grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

A Funeral Mass for Mr. Damas will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Father Guyma Noel officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 9:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Winknhofer Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Damas safe.
