Shirley Ann Morgan

Mrs. Shirley Ann Morgan, age 70, of Suwanee, GA., passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Morgan was born on August 19, 1946 in Atlanta, GA., a daughter of the late Ola Morgan and Sarah Pate Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan spent majority of her career as a homemaker and later in life became a graphic designer for Dixie Seal and Stamp. In her spare time she loved to work with her flowers; creating beautiful flower gardens. She also loved riding motorcycles, especially her own Harley Davidson. Capturing pictures of her family and friends was one of her most cherished hobbies; she had many albums full of pictures for every year. Shirley was the oldest of her seven siblings, which instilled in her a caring and always giving spirit. Though her hobbies always brought her joy, her greatest joy came from being a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister; she will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by one sister, Jewell Currier.

She is survived by her three children, Pamela King of Suwanee, GA, Sidney (Ashleigh) Phillips of Dallas, GA., and Patrick (Tanja) Phillips of Suwanee, GA.; six brothers, Anthony Morgan, Henry Morgan, John Morgan, Raymond Morgan, Larry Morgan, and Mark Morgan; seven grandchildren, Bobby King III, Blake King, Zaniel Phillips, Wrina Phillips, Allison Phillips, and Amilia Phillips; one great grandchild, Bo King IV; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service to honor the life of Mrs. Morgan will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A reception will take place following the memorial service at the Pine Ridge 1890 House in the Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Parkway Kennesaw, GA., 30152.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from eleven o’clock in the morning until the time of service on Saturday, December 17, 2016.
