Terry attended North Cobb High School and graduated in 1977. Terry went on to a vocational school for machinery and received his diploma shortly after. In 1980, he began his thirty-eight year career with Lockheed. In 1985 he met Tammy and they were married on May 16, 1987 and spent thirty-one loving years together before his passing.
Terry enjoyed listening to rock and roll and spending time outside. He was an outdoorsman, loving to spend his time hunting, fishing, and camping. He was very fun-loving, caring, and always joking to make people smile. Terry was also very reliable and was a good provider for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Jones; parents, Emon and Jean Jones; son, Wesley Jones; daughter, Amanda (Kevin) Dahlquist; brothers, Mike (Sara) Jones, Steve (Karen) Jones and Tony (April) Jones; and granddaughter, Delilah Violet Dahlquist.
A funeral service to honor Mr. Terry Jones will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation from 10:30 am in the morning until 1:00 pm in the afternoon. He will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Memorial Park following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Terry’s honor to the NRA, or to send a flower arrangement to a significant person in their lives.
