Tom was a vivid man, as quick to make you laugh with a joke as to engage in a political debate or conspiracy theory. He thrived on his bold personality, never one to shy away from strong opinions voiced confidently.
Tom took immense yet quiet pride in his contracting work, where he specialized in paint and wallpaper. He loved solving problems, whether on the job or at home. If something was broken, he either knew how to fix it or who could help. Mostly, Tom stoically took whatever tools were needed and set to work, solving problems with an effortlessness that seemed like magic.
Tom loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, and rooted for his teams unerringly. He demonstrated the same relentless tenacity when supporting those he loved, especially when they weren’t there to speak for themselves. Tom was fun. He was kind. A dedicated father and a loyal friend, and more than anything, Tom was always ready to help someone who needed it.
Tom leaves behind a legacy of love, support, and personality. He was practical, content with few material possessions as he was rich in intangibles: his charming impishness, his unwavering commitment to his children and grandchildren, and his persistent curiosity for life’s greatest mysteries.
A Visitation for friends and family to gather will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026 between the hour of 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Georgia. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:30 AM with Rev. Troy Hall officiating.
Tom is loved, and the outpouring of support is a testament to the indelible imprint Tom leaves in his wake. We'll always love you, Tom, and we’ll miss you for the rest of our days.
