

Timothy Jack (Tim) Coleman, 55 of Powder Springs went home to be with Jesus August 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 29, 1957 in Florala, Alabama, Tim was the son of Ina Mae Coleman and the late Ray B. Coleman. Tim was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Bryan Coleman. Tim is survived by his wife of 33 years Tina Miller Coleman, his two sons Chris Shawn Coleman and Matthew Terry Coleman, his daughter Rebecca Coleman Garner(Jonathan) and his grandson Cayden Garner. He is also survived by his sister Cindy (Sister) Culverhouse and his twin brother Terry Coleman(Diane).
Tim was a gifted musician whose voice and guitar blessed many, including his church family at St. Andrews UMC, Walk to Emmaus, and the retirement communities at Highland Court in Kennesaw and Winnwood in Marietta. He was a consummate entrepreneur and leader in the business community, having successfully started several businesses including Southern HydroVac in Powder Springs, Ga. His success in business was due to his love for people and how his customers loved him. Tim gave freely of himself wherever he saw a need, and countless people in business, church, and local settings were honored to call him friend.
Saint Andrew's United Methodist Church in Marietta will host the funeral services on Sunday August 25, 2013. Lay in state 1-2 PM, Memorial service at 2 PM with reception and graveside to follow.
