Trina Crescenzi

Mrs. Trina Dawn Crescenzi, age 69, of Savannah, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Mrs. Crescenzi was born on December 7, 1955 in Atlanta to the late Kenneth Williams and the late Barbara Ann Wilkerson Williams.

In addition to her parents, Trina was preceded in death by her grandson Nathan Todd Earnest, lost in stillbirth, and two grandbabies, lost in miscarriage, who were all waiting to greet their Nonna when she arrived in heaven. Trina was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Robbie Carrier.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Vincent Michael “Mike” Crescenzi; her son, Jonathan Crescenzi and his children, Vincent and Samuel; her daughter, Bethany Crescenzi and her daughter, Sarah Earnest; son-in-law, Jeremy Earnest and their children, Noella and Nicholas. She is also survived by her younger sister, Kenya Carrier.

There are many memories that will be cherished about Trina, memories found through the things that she loved. She loved Christmas and everything about it, the music, the movies, but, especially the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Trina also had a love of cooking, memorizing scripture, and creating things. Weaved through her life was her love for everyday things, like her love for the color blue which is apparent in many of the crafts she created and the many flowers she planted. In Trina’s childhood and teen years, she enjoyed being involved in the activities and ministries of her church, First Baptist Church, Kennesaw, Georgia. It was through those ministries where Trina became a believer in Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and where she grew in her walk of faith and relationship with Jesus. She had a deep love relationship with Jesus. Trina also had a love for music and not only took part in music ministry at her church, but, also at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia where she was very involved in the music and drama programs. Trina graduated from high school in 1973, going on to attend Shorter College, where she met Michael, the love of her life. They were married in 1974 and completed their college degrees in 1977 during which time they stayed involved in ministry while serving on church staffs. Trina and Michael together shared a deep love for ministry, so, they continued to serve in various church pastoral ministry roles during Michael’s training at Mid-America Seminary and then through the next years of their marriage. It was during these years that Trina expressed another love as they began their family of three children. Trina had a deep love for raising their children and was led to home school them for most of their schooling years. After the formal schooling of their children was complete, Trina maintained her love and focus and commitment to her family primarily as a homemaker and also the love of serving others in ministry alongside Michael. During the last twenty-six years they have served as missionaries with Life Action. Another evidence of Trina’s loving character was feeling led to take part in the care of her mother, who was experiencing declining health in her later years. Trina and Michael moved back to Georgia in 2011 to help care for her. Following the death of Trina’s mother, she and Michael moved to Savannah in 2018. To say that Trina showed love is an understatement. She was very quiet in her love, but, was bold in living a life of loving and caring for others. Trina dearly loved her family and friends unconditionally and her sweet spirit and joyful smile will be deeply missed.

At the funeral services for Trina and in honor of her, Trina’s family asks that you join them in wearing something blue in celebration of her life and her uncanny ability to almost always dress her family in the color blue!

A Visitation was held on Friday evening, June 20, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406).

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening, June 27, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Winkenhofer Funeral Home, (2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152).

A celebration of life will also be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Winkenhofer Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Pine Ridge Memorial Cemetery in Kennesaw, Georgia, adjacent to the Winkenhofer Funeral Home where guests are welcome to attend.

Trina’s nephew, Jason Alligood, who serves as a bible professor at Cedarville University, will be the officiating minister at both celebrations of life.
