

She was born on January 6, 1947, in Tuckerman, Arkansas, to the late Mr. Cordie “Bud” Kelly and Mrs. Laura Bell Kelly.
Tura lived a life defined by quiet strength, dedication, and deep love
for her family. She was a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a steady, dependable presence to all who knew her.
Tura attended Arkansas State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and later pursued graduate studies in Mass Communication. She remained a proud alumna throughout
her life.
She built a career in telecommunications, working in training, customer service, and leadership roles, including her time with AT&T. She was known for her reliability, strong work ethic, and the
care she brought to her work and those she supported. She later retired after many years of dedicated service.
Family was at the center of Tura’s life. She was a loving and proud mother to her two sons, Donavan Graves and his wife, Elizabeth Graves, and Ian Graves. She is also survived by her
sisters, Mrs. Willie Jean Borders, Mrs. Dana Person, and her cherished grandchildren: Yvonne Graves, Isaac Graves, Kalah Graves, and Khalil Graves. She also leaves behind her faithful and
beloved dog, Jeffie.
Tura found joy in traveling and spending time with friends. She loved being outdoors and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be
carried forward with love.
She gave generously of her time to others, serving as president of AARP and volunteering with senior groups. Through her leadership and compassion, she offered companionship, guidance,
and care to many in her community.
Tura will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in her family and in the many lives she touched
