Walter James Duffy

Walter Duffy of Acworth, GA, died Thursday, Aug. 29th, 2013 at age 53.

Walter, a beloved husband, wonderful father and forever friend, is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tricia, and children Austin and Ashley. Walter is a graduate of Osborne High School and worked with UPS as Delivery Driver for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Joyce Stewart Duffy. He is also survived by his sister, Pam Cleland and her family, Gary and Hannah.

Walter was a fun loving, family man who enjoyed working on his '66 Chevelle, going to the lake, and having the best looking yard in the neighborhood. Walter and Tricia were married for 28 amazing years. He was a well-known and appreciated UPS delivery driver for over 28 years. Walter was always willing to help anyone who asked him. He taught his children, Austin and Ashley many of his wonderful talents, whether it was working on maintaining cars, music trivia, or driving advise. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Monday, September 2nd between 4:00 and 7:30 PM.

The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 3rd at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw, GA. Graveside service will be in Huntland, TN.
