I really liked bro Walt Langdon.
I gave a message in tongues
And he interpreted  it.

You was a good pastor for me and my family. When we moved to
Richmond In  in 1959.. 

Brother Langdon was a great friend. I only knew him a short while, but he and his wife were a comfort and inspiration to my wife Terry and me.

I know he is missed dearly, but he rejoices today in heaven as if it were but a moment since he left us.

Uncle Walter, was my mom's brother. I am his niece Pruda Mullins sister and I have a lot of beautiful stories about this wonderful man. I always looked up to him. One story sticks out in my mind. That is when my mom had a party for Uncle Walter. She had a house full of people. She had 4 large silver coffee servers set up. I was 6 years old at that time. My mom told us kids not to run around the coffee table. Well I was running and whent under the table to hide. I hit the table and scolding hot coffee fell on me. I was burnt, my clothes was sticking to me. Uncle Walter picked me up quickly and took off the clothes that was melting into my skin. And he quickly wrapped me up in a blanket and he prayed over me. I passed out. They took me too the hospital and the doctor said I was badly burned and would be scared. I was burned on my face, arm and all down my right side. They had me wrapped up like a mummy for months. Uncle Walter continued to pray for me. Once I could go without bandages. I was looked bad, but as a little time went by it became less noticable. The Doctor was amazed that it was not leaving a scar. Today I am scar free. It is due to my loving Uncle who thought quickly and prayed for me. I have always been proud and loved this man so much. He will live in my heart and my memories forever. Rest in peace Uncle Walter. You are having a great family reunion with all the people I hope someday to have a great family reunion as well. 

This man of God impacted my life in so many ways.   I was truly blessed to be one of his ‘special ‘ friends, and he will always be one of mine.  He was the pastor that led me to the Lord (and it stuck).  He also presided over my wedding over 40 years ago (and it stuck, too).   My heart breaks for Sis. Nancy, Sheila, Tim and Aaron, but we will see him again!  God bless you family!  

Pastor Langdon was my first pastor when I was a tiny child. I remember saying hello to him in the hallways. I remember him always saying “ amen and amen and amen!” He was my only pastor besides pastor Brooks! He baptized me at the age of 7! 
You will be missed pastor!

Pastor Langdon was an incredible man. He touched the lives of so many, mine included. He will always be remembered and cherrished. He will definitely be missed. My thoughts & prayers go out to the entire family during this very difficult time. 

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of pastor Walter Langdon and his beautiful bride Nancy and to all that knew him and loved him. May he rest in peace. I thought he was a funny man last year he would come and teach our class once in awhile always having something funny to say. He will truly be missed but not forgotten. 
Our heart goes out to all that knew and loved him. Rest In Peace Walter!!!

 Brother Langdon was my pastor about 47 years ago at the Baxley Church of God.  I was a very young Christian but under his and Sister Langdon’s mentoring I learned and grew.  I knew they always loved me and my family.  They taught me how to  love and to forgive.  He came back to Baxley to Pastor again about 8 years ago and I enjoyed again his pastor’s heart and his love.  I love you Brother and Sister Langdon!! Brother Langdon, I’ll Meet you in the Morning!  ❤️🙏🏻

We have wonderful memories of the years he served as our pastor at Marietta Church of God in the mid 80’s.  Our hearts and prayers go out to Sister Langdon and her family. May God be your peace and comfort until you meet again.  

We sure will miss Bro. Langdon. But I will know where to look for him and that will be a Jesus feet. R.I.P.

Some men trail along through life, and get by each day, not truly doing anything for anyone.   But there are a distinct handful of men who blaze trails as they go through life.  They give of theirselves to others - they take joy in the simplest of gestures in life which in turn have huge impacts.  They love bigger than most.  

Brother Langdon was this man to our family - he blazed a trail when he and my Grandfather, Rev. Bert Franklin Ford became friends and the friendship lasted until that day that Brother Langdon preached my Grandfather's funeral and said 'see ya later'.  I can only imagine all of the stories they are telling, and their laughter.  I am sure there were probably quite a few waiting to welcome Brother Langdon in Heaven - but oh my - I do believe Papa Ford was one of the first!

I will never forget visiting Brother and Sister Langdon on different occasions.  But besides my last visit with Brother Langdon at Papa's funeral, and then at the hotel before we all parted ways, I have one very fond memory.  The last time he visited my family in Florida, we sat in my Grandparents Florida room, as Brother Langdon and my Grandfather laughed and talked about old times.  Brother Langdon would sit right next to Papa, and pull on his ear and tell him how much he loved him.  He looked at my Grandfather like he adored him so much.  I'll never forget this love that he so genuinely extended to our family!

See ya later Brother Langdon - and it surely won't be long!

Walt Langdon has been a part of our Church of God Community beginning in my memory in 1974 when we entered ministry as evangelist. Clyde and I respected his leadership and his integrity.

Even though Clyde went to his reward in 2016 I wanted to post a remembrance on his behalf. 
Our Father be praised for a servant of Walt Langdon’s caliber!

I can recall many visits to my uncle Walter and Aunt Nancy's home growing g up where you were all always welcome with an open hands and hearts.  He was a wonderful man that was always there for everyone.  He will always be a part of my heart.  

Brother Langdon encouraged me during a difficult time in my own ministry. Love them both, and pray  for the family during this difficult time, but also rejoice that he has received his reward.

Walter's ministry at the Hamilton Church of God greatly impacted our lives . Sandy and I are so sorry to hear of his passing. May the Lord Jesus comfort Shelia, Randy, and Tim in the days ahead. We loved Walter and Nancy greatly. Chuck and Sandy Tufts
