December 22, 1932 to November 14, 2020
Paul Strohauer was born in Hamilton Square, New Jersey to Linda Lee (Conover) Strohauer and Walter Paul Strohauer. He attended school in New Jersey during his formative years. He met the love of his life, Lee Walker, at Rider College in 1956 and married her the following year. The two were happily married for over 63 years. They have two sons, David Paul (wife: Lisa, son: Sterling) and Mark Walter (son: Levi, daughter: Jessica, step son: Chris), who live in the Atlanta Area. He is also survived by his sister Jacqueline Lenox and his niece Linda Fair Lenox of Princeton, New Jersey. Paul was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed the sea coast. Paul had numerous hobbies but mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, including his four grandchildren. For many years he worked as a sales agent, starting with John A. Roebling Sons. He also represented CF&I (in North Carolina), Orban and D.B. Orban (in Georgia) before founding Strohauer Marketing Group, Inc. in 1985. He was president and C.E.O. of SMG Inc. with sales covering the continent of North America until his retirement. He continued to be active in the company he founded a decade and a half after his retirement. Paul was always kind, generous and loving and shared his sense of humor with all.
Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
