Worked and was friends with Zan many years ago at Hutcheson in Ft.Ogelthorpe, and last talked with her a year or so before she left us. As you can see, much time has come and gone, yet the place Zan has in my heart will never be filled, because there was never and will never be anyone like her. Always a twinkle in her eyes, a smile to melt your heart, beautiful from the outside all the way through.
     It’s taken this long to write here,  for the words are too small for such a person as Zan.

I am sorry about hearing of Zan's passing.  She was the legal nurse case manager assigned to one of my cases.  She was thoughtful and helpful to my client.  Zan and I became friends pretty fast.  I will miss her...

I was devistated to hear of Zan's passing.  We had so many wonderful times together over the last 22+ years.  I will never forget her, I will miss her always, I loved her dearly.

Zan was one of my favorite people. Always upbeat and a constant supporter. Zan and I worked on many, many cases together in her career as a nurse and nurse case manager. She always fought for the rights of her clients, and she delivered. She was always fair but steadfast in her demands for proper care and proper services.

I'll miss her dearly, and I can't believe she is gone.

Zan's unique name certainly fit this unique lady and although I did not know her well, her outgoing, friendly personality left one with the feeling of more than a casual acquaintanceship. Her love of her animals heightened my fondness of Zan and they are missing her, I'm sure. My prayer for her family and friends is that the joy of Zan's life will overcome the sorrow of her loss. My thoughts and prayers to Zans family.I always looked forword to talking with Zan when she stopped to talk on her way out of the neighborhood,when I would be walking my chihuahuas.She was one of the very few people here who was a friend to me,and we joked alot.I always would laugh with Zan,and her humor and friendship to me here in Hickory Walk will be missed.

Zan was more than a nurse to me; she was my friend.  Zan was my nurse advocate who went against the odds to insure that I received the medical care I needed.  She understood my situation like no one else did and she brought great comfort to me by listening and letting me know she genuinely cared.  I will miss her greatly. I've known Zan for years.  Our kids grew up together when they were little, and we bonded.  She was the funniest, craziest and most generous person.  I loved her dearly and feel blessed to have had her in my life.  Life is not going to be the same without her.  But, we know she's paving the way for the rest of us in heaven! I had the priveledge to meet Zan and get to know her as a wonderfully funny and genuinely kind person.   I don't think she ever met a stranger. We met Zan at Disciple Bible study this year led by Dr. Sam Matthews at Marietta FUMC.  We were very dismayed to find out she had passed away.  We will miss her, as we know her family will miss her. Zan and I have been friends since 1977 and I loved her like a sister.  I will miss her so much.  I want to send my love, thoughts and prayers out to her family and friends,  God needed her more than we did.  God rest her soul in your arms.

Zan was such a wonderful person, i am so thankful i got to know her, She loved life and loved her family and she will be so missed. To her family know that she is in heaven in no more pain and one day you will all be together again.

My deepest condolences to Zan's family. Zan had the warmth and charm that made everyone want to be her friend.  We worked togeter at St. Paul Insurance Company and remained friends over the years. I will miss her but never forget her.
