On October 14, 2024 David made his final journey. He is reunited with the love of his life Linda (Nee Kruk), his parents Ray and Norma Garrow, step-mother Ellie, brother Bill, and in-laws John and Katie Kruk
He came into this world on October 31, 1943 and was renowned Norman boy. He is survived by his son Curtis (Liz), Cierra (Adam), Sarayah (Dylan), and Daughter Terryl (Stuart), Nicole and the Kruk family.
He will also be missed by his brothers, Wayne (twin), Rene and Glen.
As per David’s wishes, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Norman Dam with luncheon to follow. The dam was a place David spent much of his youth and so loved.
Terryl and I would like to thank Aunty Karen Nordstrom for her undivided support since Mon Passed.
Dad is going to miss his bananas and oatmeal raisin cookies with your Saturday visits. I would also like to thank my wife Liz for reminding me that it’s the disease and it’s not really your dad. I would also like to thank the girls at Benidickson for his care while he had his short stay. Thanks are extended to the staff and volunteers at Pinecrest and Dr. Thomas. And thank you for including the family in the Code Angel. If there is one word for this generous act its respect.
Terryl would also like to thank Kim Tittinelle for her time with Dad. He will be miss his ice cream. There are many people who have made an impact on Dad’s life and we apologize for those we did not mention or may have missed. He was a well-loved man with no shortage of friends and family.
Donations can be made to the Kenora Cat Shelter in memory of David Garrow.
