Destiny Sandy

Destiny was predeceased by her great grandfather Frank Sandy Sr., her great grandmother Adeline Sandy, and her grandfather Pierre Flowers.

Destiny is survived by her grandmother Sharon Sandy, her mother Michelle Sandy, her father Brad Steiner, her siblings Eric Sandy, Haylee Sandy, Simon Sandy and Damon Sandy. Aunts and Uncles Tanya Woodhouse, Basil Greene Jr., Melanie Sandy. Her cousins Bethany Woodhouse, Hannah Woodhouse, Raya Woodhouse, Shay Sandy, Kristopher Sandy, Chenelle Sandy, Matthew Sandy, Leah Sandy. Many great aunts, uncles, cousins and relative too numerous to mention.

Destiny was also known as “Mikey or Michael”, they enjoyed creating and making art, playing guitar, caring for fish and reptiles, and had an interest in taxidermy, was raised by Sharon Sandy, Michael grew up with cousin Shay Sandy, they spent most of their childhood in Shoal Lake, where they explored nature together. Mikey, Shay and Sharon enjoyed many excursions together, mostly outdoor activities, fishing, exploring, movies, as well as a trip to Drumheller to see the Dinosaur exhibits, they also attended church and were raised Christian.

Wake Service will be held on Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Shoal Lake 39 Community Hall beginning at 4:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday,

August 6, 2017 at the Shoal Lake 39 Community Hall at 2:00 pm with interment to follow.
