Maachii-gaabwiik/Kiiwatinobiik. Esther Penace passed away at the age of 76 on July 30, 2025, at her home.
She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Jessie Penace. Brothers; Alfred, Larry, Kenny, Ronnie, Reggie Penace. Grandson; Whalyn Penace. Great Granddaughter; Angel Catcheway.
Esther will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children , grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, family, and friends ; Joanne (Marcel), Vincent, Mylo, Faron, Charlee, Ethan, Sejada; John (Madeline) Cheyanne, Chelsey, Jayden, Cherlyn; Lorraine, Candace, Gordon, Patrick Jr.; Adele, Kendrick, Courtney, Nolan, Nick, Tara; Yvonne (Jim) Ronnie, Reggie, Jessica, Arthur, Robbie; Rhea (Harvey) Jessica, Brittany, Luke, Dakota; with many more family and relatives.
Traditional wake services will begin on Saturday, August 9, 2025, starting at 3:00 pm at David Kejick School in Iskatewizaagegan First Nation.
Traditional Funeral service will be on Sunday, August 10 with a Traditional burial to follow.
