

He leaves behind his beloved wife Josie Lessard, who was his best friend and companion of 50 years. Frank is survived by his 3 sons. Richard (son Jaden), Patrick (daughter Mackenzie; Steve - son Keegan), David (daughter Faye), and his grand-dog Felix. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Aline), and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Frank enjoyed the outdoors, boat cruises, gardening and fishing. He knew that when the boys caught any fish, he would be the one to clean them. He also enjoyed watching hockey and listening to his country music, he loved Johnny Cash. Frank often talked about his 40 years of experiences & career as a Miner, in Ontario and Quebec. The last 29 years were at Goldcorp (Campbell Mine - Balmertown) retiring in 2003.
There will be a Celebration of Frank's life at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Sunday April 17th, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Andrews will be officiating.
At the request of the family, donations can be made to the Kenora Rotary Club (Splash Park).
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Kyle as well to Char and all of the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit, 3rd floor - Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
