It is with great sadness his children announce the passing of Gary Malcolm Sinclair.

He will be remembered and greatly missed by his children; Cheryl (Dave), Bruce, Brent (Sue), Christine, Gary (Jen). Grandfather to; Michael, Jennifer; Douglas, Amanda, Nicholas; Sean; Matthew, Lucas; Riley and Connor. He is also survived by his sister Gail Chassie.

Dad was predeceased by his parents Stanley Harold Sinclair and Mabel Christina Sinclair nee (Buchanan), his oldest son Douglas Gerald and his cherished wife of 52 years, Ruth Lillian Sinclair nee (Goetz). Brothers Brian, Donald and Charles.

Dad was born and raised in Kenora. He loved the outdoors and the abundance of wildlife around us.

Dad worked for the Ministry of Transportation for 35 years, the bulk of his career as a float operator. He also volunteered to help keep Lakeside Community Club in good repair, with Don Myles, doing the work needed during the summers.

Under his tough as nails exterior, dad was always ready to assist those he felt were in need. Over the years Dad was there for his children and grandchildren on many occasions.

Dad missed mom every minute of every day since we lost her, and has left us in order to rejoin her.

At Dad's request, immediate cremation has taken place, with burial to follow at Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
