His favourite past-time was spending time at his cabin on Black River which he built alongside his wife and brother Francis. He was passionate about history and loved talking about ‘the good ol’ days. Harry was a gifted self-taught fiddler. He guided for many years at Red Indian Lodge before joining the crisis unit and later retiring from OTFS as a social worker. Harry appreciated the value of a good bargain which he satisfied at yard sales. He was dedicated and committed to his family and always made them his first priority. He was genuinely caring and respectful. He was generous with his time and eager to lend a helping hand. Harry will be remembered by all whose lives he touched as a loving, kind and gentle spirit.
Thanks and appreciation to Dr. Buzz Pederson, LOWD Hospital staff, Grace Kelly, Elaine and Helen Joseph for their gentle and sincere care of Harry throughout his illness. Special thanks to Alice Paypompee, Betty Tom, Catherine Hunter, Joe Red Thunder Boy, Marilyn White, Rhonda Nash, Pat Copenace, Clifford, Jeanette and Tanis Skead for their kind support.
