Herbert Lentz

Herb passed away suddenly July 01, 2014 at Gummeson’s Camp, Ignace, Ontario at the age of 80 years.

He was born in Dinorwic, Ontario in 1933.

He was predeceased by his parents Wanda and Adolph; his in laws Edith and Harry Gummeson; his sisters Herta (Marty Giving), Eileen Archutick of Lacombe, Alberta.

He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 53 years.

He was proud of his three sons Robert (Sandi), Ronald and Ryan. He thought the world of his seven grandchildren Tyera, Tristen, Rocklen, Brandi, Skylar, Connor and Dawson and family members and relatives.

Herb worked on heavy equipment and loved his work. He worked pipeline and other construction jobs. He had very good work ethics.

Herb was a quiet man who always had a big smile on his face. He could create and turn his hands in to anything. Grandpa’s grandchildren are really going to miss him as he could fix anything especially bikes.

A special thank you to Dr. Retson who went beyond and above her care of Herb.; the nurses at Lake of the Woods District Hospital; Cory at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for all his help.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private service at Gummeson’s Camp at a later date.
