Jakob Trent Fobister-Skead, a member of Wauzhushk Onigum Nation passed away on April 22, 2019 with his family by his side.
He was born on April 9, 2000 in Kenora, Ontario.
Jake was predeceased by his grandma Brenda Skead, Sheldon’s mother and Kathy’s brother John Edward Jr., Jake’s cousin Mina Lihara Skead Myles.
He is survived by his father Sheldon, his mother Kathy Ann, brother Brandon (Everett & Mika), sisters Kadence & Kara, grandparents Walter and Ladean, and John and Katherine, Kathy’s siblings Lois, Deborah, George, Keith and Karen and Sheldon’s siblings Dee-Dee, Matt, Celeste, Markus, Faith, Rhea, Shawn, Colleen and Leon, many nieces and nephews too many to mention.
Jake will also be missed by his friends Zack, Carson, Joshua, Connor and Savannah, he enjoyed gaming online with all of them, he loved his friends so much that he wanted them included with his journey to the spirit world.
Jake was really bright and intelligent, very supportive and close with his younger sisters, was very caring, loving and respectful with everyone. Jake had moved to Winnipeg to finish his high school diploma, with the dream of moving to Toronto to get his television production degree.
The pallbearers will be: Sheldon, Matt, Markus, Shaun, Leon, Cody, Kinew and Manny.
Wake Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 3:00p.m. at Golden Eagle Bingo Hall.
Funeral Service on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Golden Eagle Bingo Hall. Interment to follow Wauzhushk Onigum Nation.
