James Pink, born October 11, 1968 in Toronto, Ontario, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was adopted in 1972 in York, Ontario, by his devoted parents, Jerry and Merry Pink. As a child, James was described by his family as happy and playful, with a love for the outdoors and a fondness for building and creating with his toys. James also had a likeness with his comic books.
James was predeceased by his father, Jerry, and is lovingly remembered by his mother, Merry; his sisters, Vikki and Lori; and his brother, Tim.
In 1993, James met Lisa (Savoyard), and together they welcomed two children: Brandon in 1994 and Brianna in 2002. James was proud to become a grandfather in 2020 with the birth of his grandson, Alexander, Brandon’s son.
In his later years, James embraced a quiet and simple life. He shared his home with his longtime partner, Arlene (Wesley), whom he met in 2013. Known as a true “go-getter,” James believed in doing things himself. He had a natural talent for carpentry, not only working in the trade but also creating meaningful, handmade gifts for his family that will be cherished for years to come. During this time, he also enjoyed attending concerts, spending time in nature, and sharing quality moments with his loved ones. He took pleasure in cooking, with his favorite meal being steak.
James will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his independence, and the care he showed through the things he built and the life he lived.
A celebration of life for James will be held on Tuesday May 5th, 2026 at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre-Multi-Purpose Room from 1:00pm-3:00pm for family and friends.
