Jonathon Gabriel Mandamin, known as Gun Gun, a resident of Iskatewizaagegan #39, passed away at home on March 1, 2026.

He was predeceased by his grandparents James and May Mandamin, and Elizabeth Fisher. His dad Tim Fisher, aunts and Uncles Ralph Mandamin, Viola Mandamin, George Fisher, and Adolphus Cameron, his cousins Cody Oustan, Karen Mandamin and Darcy Green.

Jon is survived by his mother Victoria Mandamin, Jon’s friend and the mother of his children Erin Smith, his children Arianna, Karissa, DeAngelo Mandamin and Kaidess, his siblings Jeff (Nelda), Nadine (Ben) and Bruce, his grandchildren Arazay, Dominick and Ezra. His nieces and nephews Nathan, Khristian, Jazzy, Ali, Daulton, Katrina (Don), Mindy and Jathan.

His cousins Isabel, Debbie, Pat, James, Gabriel, Jolene, Davion, Maynard, Travis, Rhea, Cathy, Chiata, Ralphie, Ariel, Rollie, Jenny, Kirk, Greg, Gary, Eugene and Beatrice. His aunts and uncles Marvin (Eva), Victor (Irene), Cindy Cameron, Ivan (Edith). Jon will be missed by Arazy’s dad Alonzo Houle and many relatives too numerous to mention.

Jon had decades of experience in the construction and landscaping industry. He enjoyed working outdoors, developing a reputation for being a hard worker. He had a tremendous zest for life, always keeping a positive attitude. He could make anybody laugh with his quick wit and unique sense of humor. Jon took pleasure in meeting new people, he was always striking up conversations with random strangers. Everyone agrees that he was too generous. Jon was a talented cook and awesome at grilling meals on the barbecue.

He had an appreciation for a wide variety of music. He liked to game online, go fishing and work out in his spare time. Jon was deeply devoted to his children and cherished the time he shared with his granddaughter Arazay. Jon was always completely upfront about his motives. He was an honest person with a kind heart who had recently embraced a path of faith in God that brought him peace.

Pallbearers will be Blair Green, Bernard Morris, James Mandamin, Gabriel Mandamin, Don Lewis, Khristian Mandamin, Jaythan Mandamin and Calvin Mandamin.

Wake will begin at 10:00 am on March 13, 2026 at Iskatewizaagegan #39 IFN Community Center. Pastor Larry Laquette will lead a Minister & Song Service at 7:00 pm March 13, 2026. Pastor Ezra Bogle will lead the Funeral Service at 11:00am on March 14, 2026 at Iskatewizaagegan #39 IFN Location: Community Center with interment to follow.
