Ken was born in Kenora and lived here most of his life. He attended school here and worked at several jobs before starting work at CP Rail. He loved working there until he retired. He was a loving husband, Father and later Grandfather. He loved the lakes and country around Kenora and frequently said why would I move as I already live in God's country. He knew and fished in a multitude of lakes in the area as well as Lake of the Woods. He liked to hunt, but was an excellent fisherman and wonderful photographer. Being outdoors summer or winter was a joy to him. He enjoyed meeting people and making friends.
He spent the last few years at Pinecrest Home. He got to know a lot of staff there who did an excellent job and took great care of him. The family thanks them for that.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre officiated by Pastor Cathy Giroux, on Tuesday, February 24th 2026, at 11:00 am with a luncheon after the service at the Knox Church.
