She was born on August 29, 1962 in Dryden, Ontario.

Lela is predeceased by grandparents Paul & Mary Assin, Joseph and Lucy Kokokopenace, children Leroy, Ruby and Murphy Kokokopenace, siblings Ruby Ann, Sally and Ernie Assin.

She is survived her husband Robert Bob, parents Colin & Jessie Assin, children Randy & Judy Kokopenace, step children, Sheila Carney, Sachena Bob, Clayton Bob, Salena Bob-Kelly, siblings Evelyn Kokokopenace, Tony and Clarence Assin, grandchildren Sally, Kirsten & Murphy, six others and one great grandchild, aunties Susan, Eveleen, Brenda, Rita, Clara. And cousins Sheila, Christine, John, Brenda, Lucy, Beverly Ann, Donny and Carla, plus many more too many to mention.

Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Trapper’s Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Trapper’s Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario with interment to follow.
