Rhonda loved cooking, baking and trying new recipes, she loved to garden and really enjoyed her plants. She had the nicest handwriting and enjoyed reading and writing. When she had free time she enjoyed sewing and mending clothing. She was an avid animal lover, especially dogs, she really loved her dog ‘Wiser’. Her home was always welcoming growing up, it was the place to be.
She was a very loving aunty to everyone in the family. She also enjoyed the outdoors, loved to be on the lake fishing, gathering fish for community events. She had amazing cooking skills and catered for the community at pow-wows and fish fries. She also had a gentle smile that lit up any room she walked in to, she always helped with the elders meetings. Rhonda always did the cooking 2 times a month for 17 years. She also was very talented at hair styling and cutting hair. People from the community would go to her to for haircuts, perms and coloring. The greatest love in her life were her grandchildren and she beamed with love and respect for Sabrina and Shastina for bringing grandchildren into her life.
The family would like to thank Treaty Three Police and Grassy Narrows First Response Team for all of their assistance.
