Victoria Fobister, age 58 years, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

Victoria loved life, laughing and spending time with her family. She enjoyed listening to 80’s music, writing, reading and learning about her family history.

She is survived by her children Thea and grandchildren Alariel, Breanna, Jocelyne and Tracy; Roxanne; Candice (Jeff) and grandchildren Adrian, Aaliyah and Emmett; Jasmine (Steven) and grandchildren Alexis, Bailey and April; Lindsay; Travis {Roy} (Carlin); Shaylene (Stephan) and grandchildren Cadence and Tyson; Michael Shawn; Bobbi; and Nathan (Sierra); her partner Peter Beardy; brothers and sisters Terry Fobister and his children Trevor, Warren and Olivia Ashopenace; Marcia and her children Leon, Jackie and Colton Fobister; Roland Fobister; Eric Fobister; and Pamela Fobister and her children Andrew, Amber and Aaron Fobister; aunts Sharon Fobister, Evelyn Pahpasay and Louise Strong; uncle Steve Fobister; cousins Rebecca Fobister, Emily Assin, Sherry Fobister, Christine Pahpasay, Sylvia Pahpaysay, Annette Pahpasay, Harvey Pahpasay, Jennifer Pahpasay, Darren Pahpaysay, Marty Pahpasay, David Keon Fobister and Doreen Strong. Numerous other relatives also survive.

She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Nancy Fobister and her sister Marilyn Fobister.

The wake will begin on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at noon in the Minnow Say Win Building. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
