Walter Anderson

July 8, 1975 - November 10, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, father, brother, uncle and cousin Walter Jason (“May z hoose”) on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Walter is survived by his only daughter Alexis, father Robert Sr., brothers Robert Jr. (Sarah), Thomas (Elizabeth), sister Roberta, nephew Joshua, niece Hannah and his girlfriend Eva, as well as many relatives in the surrounding area.

Walter is predeceased by his dear mother Alice, brother Edward, grandparents, Alfred and Barbara Muckle, Edgar and Flora Anderson.

Walter started working early in his life around the Minaki area, he spent 15 years with the M.N.R. fire crews which he loved and then moved on with construction in Alberta and Ontario.

Walter was a very outgoing, kind hearted, generous person and would go out of his way to help others in need. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing with family and friends. Although he caught more snags than fish, he loved it anyways.

Pallbearers are Jeff Turcotte, Patrick Barr, Ryan McDonald, Eric French, Donald Albany and Jamie Anderson.

A wake will be held at the Minaki Community Hall, Minaki, Ontario on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm (noon). Funeral Service will be held at the

Minaki Community Hall on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Robert Wittmeier officiating.
