Mary was born on February 28, 1927 in Hanford, California to Ignacio and Bernada Barrios.She met Donald Ramirez Sr in 1953 and had their first child Donald Ramirez Jr in 1954. Jacque Ramirez Tripp arrived in 1955, Arthur Ramirez in 1956. Anthony joined the family in 1964. The family moved to Kerman in1960, where Mary became active in Cub Scouts & Girl Scouts. Later she became a member of the Kerman Chamber of Commerce and assisted in many Harvest Festivals. She was a joint Harvest Festival Parade Chairman and a Grand Marshall. She participated in the Women's Club and held the offices of Secretary, Treasurer and President. In her 70's she became an active member of Citizens on Patrol with the Kerman Police Department. She was a career Care Giver; she worked in geriatric long-term care and assisted many families in Kerman with at home cancer patient care
Mary is survived by daughter Jacque Tripp (Richard) of Atwater, California; and son Arthur Ramirez; granddaughter Kazy, grandsons Andrew and Aaron, great granddaughter Emmy, great grandson Ezra, great grandson Landon, great grandson AJ, great granddaughter Ella, great grandson Keith, Cousin Vera Tye.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Kerman Community Center located at 15100 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman CA 93630.
