

Gary E. Robinson, 59, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and formerly of Kimball, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in Colorado Springs. A gathering to celebrate Gary's life was held in Colorado Springs on Monday October 17, 2011. A Memorial Service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held Saturday November 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball. Inurnment will be held in the Kimball Cemetery following the service. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.cantrellfh.com . Memorial donations may be sent directly to the American Heart Association or the Kimball High School Foundation in memory of Gary. The services for Gary have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Gary Edward Robinson was born on June 10, 1952 in Kimball Nebraska to Robert (Ed) and Bettyann (Vavra) Robinson. Gary was raised in Kimball and graduated from Kimball County High School in 1970. Gary married Linda Carol Lane in August 1973 in Kimball. He attended Milford Technical School and returned to Kimball to work for his dad at Kimball Electric as an appliance service person and electrician. He and his family moved to Fort Collins Colorado and later to Colorado Springs Colorado. He worked for Win Air from December 1997-March 2003; Johnstone from March 2003-July 2010 , both HVAC wholesalers. In August 2010 Gary joined Tempered Air Group as a manufacturer’s Rep and worked there until his death. He was a well-respected and an active member of the Pike’s Peak Mechanical Contractors Association (PPMAC) in Colorado Springs. He loved spending time outdoors and with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Linda and children Jenifer (Stewart) Koch, Loveland CO; Brandy (Michael) Carsten; Heather Robinson and Jordan Robinson all of Colorado Springs along with three grandsons, Asher Koch, Garrett Koch, Connor Forrest Carsten and 2 granddaughters Olwyn Carsten and Caydence Kelsch; brother Wes (Johnna) Robinson of Gering; sisters, Kathy (Ken) Waite of Woodbine Iowa, Nyla (Tom) Bailey of Laramie, Wyoming and Linda Robinson Rutz (Phil Mullin) of Lincoln, Nebraska . He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Bettyann Robinson.
