Joyce Kulp

Joyce E. Kulp, 80, of Kimball, died in Denver on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Lorri Kentner officiating. Friends may visit www.cantrellfh.com to view her Tribute Wall and share stories and condolences with the family. Contributions in her memory may be given to the Kimball Volunteer Fire Department. The services for Joyce have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Joyce Elaine Kulp was born in Kimball, Nebraska on January 15, 1945, the daughter of Donald and Ruth (Taylor) Story. Following graduation from the Kimball County High School in 1963, she attended Hollywood Beauty School in Scottsbluff. Joyce was married to Edward A. Kulp in 1964. The family lived in Missouri, North Dakota and Kimball. Joyce and Ed moved to Thornton, Colorado where they lived for 16 years before returning to Kimball. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ed; son Timothy (Kris) Kulp of Craig, CO; brother Don (Sheila) Story of Kimball, NE; granddaughter Mackenzie Lynn Kulp and special friends Lila and Grace Moore. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Story, sister Lois Hilkemeier and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Taylor.
